Aero Pump GmbH has been increasing its international sales significantly by direct sales and through specialized exporters.

Aero Pump employs about 120 person who manufacture about 65 million pumps per year, for pharmaceutical, cosmetical and technical purposes. Certain pump models are moulded, assembled, and sealpacked exclusively under Clean Room conditions class 10,000.

There are about 250 different models of pumps and sprayers in their range for various purposes and numerous containers from plastic, glass, and aluminium, with thread, or injection vial mouth, or 1" tube design. Airless systems have been developed and marketed in close cooperation with the affiliated UrsaTec GmbH, Homburg/Saar. A number of well-reputated manufacturers of containers have taken part in designing complete solutions out of one hand.

Over the years, substantial investments have been accomplished in technology and development which led to improved flow and cost of production as a sideline, and more importantly to innovative new articles such as the COMOD system, airless, for unpreserved preparations in multiple dose plastic container, judged as a true novelty with decisive advantages by Bonn University Institute of Microbiology, which allow to circumvent the nuisance of preservatives.

Aero Pump was founded in 1976 by Steven Padar and Egon Schwab who remain owners of the company. Growing success in Germany, Europe, and farer abroad resulted in building up their own distribution system, aided by a selected number of specialized exporters to far-away markets. Aero Pump is capable still to execute minor and medium sized orders without undue surcharges or delays.

Aero Pump continues to invest heavily in improving its capacities and technology for the demands of the future. By end of 2001, Aero Pump moved to their new premises which give them the space for further expansion and development, everything according to latest findings in quality manufacturing process.
